Cleveland District Office of Alcoholics Anonymous
FUND DRIVE
Dear Members:
We want to take the time to thank you for your efforts and dedication to the AA Cleveland District Office Fund Drive. Without your help, we would be unable to function as a Central Office and provide the services that are so vital to the suffering alcoholic and to the recovering AA community.
We appreciate the time, commitment and spirit you have brought to the Seventh Tradition that “Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.”
We want to thank you for taking seriously the I am responsible pledge:
I am responsible…
When anyone, anywhere
reaches out for help, I want
the hand of A.A. always to
be there. And for that:
I am responsible.
We thank you again for your generosity and as soon as we have the final numbers on the Fund Drive, we will let you know.
WEEKEND PHONES
We need help on Mother’s Day Weekend, May 11 & 12, Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, Thursday, July 4th, July 7 & 7, July 27 & 28, August, Sept., Oct., Nov. and Dec. Please call David or Ruth at 216-241-7387 if your Group or individual members can fill a time slot. Thank you.
June Advisory Committee – Save the date
The next Advisory Committee Meeting will be held on Thursday, June 20 at the Cleveland District Office at 7:00 p.m.
THE PURPOSE OF THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE IS TO REVIEW THE POLICIES OF THE DISTRICT OFFICE. THIS IS YOUR OFFICE, PLEASE SUPPORT US.
Please elect an Advisory Committee Representative from your Group at a Group conscience meeting to attend the Advisory Committee Meetings.
VACATIONS
With the summer almost upon us a number of members will be taking their well deserved vacations. Many will be traveling to new and distant locations without knowledge of where to find a meeting. If this happens to be true for you a simple solution exists. Call the District Office and we will be able to give you the phone number of the nearest Central Office to your destination.
Remember, vacation should not mean a departure from meetings any more than it means a departure from sobriety. Also this gives you a chance to meet members of our Fellowship in other parts of the state or country
SECRETARIES REMEMBER TO CALL US WHEN THERE IS A CHANGE IN GROUP SECRETARY. WE NEED THE CURRENT SECRETARY FOR 12-STEP CALLS AS WELL AS TO KEEP MEMBERS INFORMED ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE CLEVELAND ALCOHOLIC COMMUNITY. CALL David AT 216-241-7387 AND GIVE Him ANY GROUP CHANGES.
